Topping a tree strips out the structure holding it up. It comes back faster, weaker and messier, and the next trim costs more than this one. Seeing the tree first is the whole point of the visit.

Palms are their own job.
A palm is not a tree with different leaves. Fronds, seed pods and date clusters come off on their own schedule, and a palm that has been over-skinned takes years to look right again. Height and access change the job far more than the number of palms does.

COMMON QUESTIONS
Before the visit.
Do you top trees?
No. Topping takes out the structure that keeps a tree stable and forces weak, fast regrowth that costs more to deal with next time. Branches are cut back to a point the tree can seal and grow from.
How often do palms need doing?
Most palms here get trimmed once a year. Varieties that fruit often need the dates cleared sooner, before they drop and stain whatever is underneath.
Do you take the debris away?
Yes. Branches, fronds and pods leave with the crew on the day. Nothing is piled up for you to move later.
Can you do just one tree?
Yes. One tree, one palm, or everything on the property. The site visit is free either way.
Can trimming be part of a bigger yard project?
Often it should be. If the yard is being redesigned or replanted it usually makes sense to handle the trimming in the same visit rather than paying for a separate trip.
